Time Expected: 30-minute Zoom call
Purpose: Initial fit and minimum qualification check

• Determine whether it makes sense to move forward
2. Franchise Application
Time Expected: ~20 minutes to complete
Purpose: Confirm seriousness and baseline qualifications
What We Review:
• Financial snapshot
• Business and leadership background
• Territory interest
• Ownership structure and availability
3. Discovery Meeting
45–60 minutes
Purpose: Brand education and mutual alignment
What We Cover:
• Who we are as a company
• Brand values and culture
• What makes 1-800-Plumber +Air different
• High-level overview of the business model
• What we look for in a franchise owner
• Full explanation of the franchise sales process
4. Investment & Economics Meeting
Time Expected: 60 minutes
Purpose: Financial and operational clarity
What We Cover:
• Deeper dive into the business model
• Day in the life of a new owner
• Paths to scale and growth opportunities
• Initial investment and how funds are allocated
• Ongoing and recurring operating costs
5. FDD Disclosure
Time Expected: Candidate review period
Purpose: Formal legal disclosure
What Happens:
• Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) is sent via Docusign Powerforms
• Candidate begins formal review with legal and financial advisors
6. FDD Review / Exploration Meeting
Time Expected: 45–60 minutes
Purpose: Ensure understanding and transparency
What We Cover:
• Walkthrough of key FDD sections
• Fees, obligations, and expectations
• Territory rights and support
• Address questions from attorney or CPA review
7. Territory Review Meeting
Time Expected: 30–45 minutes
Purpose: Market clarity and growth planning
What We Cover:
• How territories are constructed
• Territory boundaries and availability
• Population, demand, and growth potential
• Expansion and multi-territory opportunities
8. Validation Meeting
Time Expected: ~60 minutes
Purpose: Real-world franchisee insight
What Happens:
• Group Zoom meeting with existing franchise owners
• Open, candid conversations about ownership experience
• Leadership makes introductions and then steps out intentionally
• No earnings claims… experiences vary and are reflected in the FDD
9. Background Check & Fund Verification
Time Expected: Varies
Purpose: Final due diligence
What Happens:
• Background check is completed
• Financial capability is verified
• Confirms readiness to proceed
10. Confirmation Day
Time Expected: 1.5 Days at our corporate headquarters in Pearland, TX.
Purpose: Final alignment

What We Cover:

a day and a half at our corporate headquarters in Texas. 
• Team introduction 
• A behind the scenes look of our brand. 
• Presentations from onboarding, training , support and other members of our leadership team. 
11. Decision Call
Time Expected: 45–60 minutes
Purpose: Final approval decision
What Happens:
• Candidate presents their launch plan and goals
• Strategic conversation with executive leadership
• Treated as a final interview
• Internal consultation with leadership and franchisees
• Formal approval or decision is made
